Wow,

I've suffered from Migraine headaches since I was 10, I am 49. At he age of 40 I began to suffer from an even more drastic painful headache, called cluster headaches. The only thing that has ever brought me to my knees. The pain. Well the American Medical Association says it's the most painful thing known to man and medical science. I believe it. They also akin it to having your arm amputated without anesthesia. I have MRi's done yearly because if i had a stroke I wouldn't know it, according to retired neurologist Alan Corrosion. 3 percent of all "clusterheads" commit suicide. Very, extremely intense dramatic pain.

Since 2003, nine years. I wonder how I've made it, lot of other people wonder however I've made it too.

The pain is pin point or pain that is in the temporal area and feels like Janice pic or hammer going into that temporal region. It affects every part of your body. Especially if you cannot stop it within the first 15 minutes or so. God help me and everyone around me if it continues. My body will eventually go into shock possibly causing me to pass out. My heart flutters. In a completely blacked out room ,the green blinking light on my phone can cause so much light sensitive pain, that its hard to even believe. Sound can end up the same way,

The pain so intense and yet relief is very difficult to come by. They keep wanting to give me anti-depressant medications. I've tried recalled experimental drugs. Some work a little. Seems my body becomes resistant over a while to treatment.

At this point I would like a drug that knock me out or close to it, and for about an hour. I don't know which doctors say narcotics don't work, Well, their wrong. They don't get rid of the pain, but at least numb many of the portions of the body which bathe re affected by   the reactions to pain. The heart does not flutter. the temporal pain does don't move around (stabbing feeling), Less pain and barely tolerable, at least tolerable.

the reason I know narcotics work is because when I see my emergency room doctor ( whom I see more than all my other doctors combined) he gives me a couple of dilated and ativan and Boom headache almost gone or under intense seige.I can begin to function again.

Top headache specialist are beginning to prescribe pyslocibin (magic mushrooms) for the headaches. I'd rather have narcotics than hallucinogens.

I don't know what to do anymore? I can't get my new doctors to cooperate. I have new insurance again, along with new doctors, some of my previous doctors have retired.

Maybe you have some suggestions

Thanks,

Kevin
