My father had a heart attack almost three years ago. He has taken plavix and non coated aspirin among other medicines since is heart attach. He is now in the hospital for a bleeding ulcer, around the duodenal wall (i think) and a hernia. His GI doctor wants him off of plavix and to take coated aspirin in addition to new medicines for the ulcer, but his heart doctor is upset because he feels that there is no alternative for the plavix and my dad needs to be on that for his heart. Is there anything else that my dad can take to control both the ulcer and his heart without causing any other problem to arise. Thank you.Sara
