Hello:

My Grandson was diagnosed with autism a year ago.  He is 3 years old and will be turning 4 next month.  I think he has been diagnosed wrong.  Can a diagnosis for autism be confused with sexual and physical abuse?   I have strong suspicions that the people who were caring for him were doing things to his body before his Mother came and got him (He stopped talking during this time and I saw signs of sexual abuse).  I have suspicions that his Step Father is abusing him in some way.  His Mother seems to be oblivious to this.
