I am a 66 year old grandfather with a child that was pre-diagnosed with ASD, (Autism Spectrum Disorders). The developmental pediatrician that examined him advised me to have him be seen by a certified Child Psychologist with expertise in autistic diagnoses my son which I've adopted. I'm really frustrated by the school system here which seems to disregard me as a valued participant and that knows what he wants for his grandson. They are not qualified to make a decision on my grandson. I have save up some money . I want someone with knowledge of a reputable Psychologist or center to refer me. The distant and price are of unimportance right now. I now live in Huntsville, AL. The system and the way I've been treated have made it a possibility that I will be relocating from here in the near future. Your advice, recommendation, and feedback on this issue would be  welcomed.
