I have been a diabetic  for 10 years. In the past 5 years I have had several stents put in my arteries. The lasts surgery was putting a stent in my leg.  My question is that my sugar has never really been under control and my heart doctor keep tell me that I need to get it under control. My general doctor does not seem concern.  My fasting sugar is between 137 to 225. I do not know what my A1C is.  I'm on Januvia 100mg and Methformin 1000mg twice a day.  Please give me suggestion on what I should do.
