Hi my name is Alesha Crews , 32 yrs old .  I'm seeking additional advice in pain management . I had lumbar laminectomies & discectomies with instrumentation and fusions at theL4 L5 S1 level done back in November 08 . Although this surgery eliminated the jolts in the sciatica ... I'm struggling with severe lower back pain and pain in the buttocks region, keeping me from doing everyday responsibilities such as work, concentrating on my finances and being involved with my three children. This pain is consuming my life .I've had cortisone injections ... with no relief at all, and just recently a bilateral L4-5 MBB ... which gave me immediate relief but only for 2 days . Why would these procedures not be successful  ? And are there better alternatives that i could be taking ?
