Hello, my name is Peter and I'm 23. I'm writing because my cousin Miguel Garcia, born in New York and is 21 years old, is currently hospitalized in very critical condition. He reiceved a heart transplant at the age 16 which was a scary moment but in the end he was able to go home. On March 13, 2009 his mother, Carmen Garcia, noticed the sweling in his feet and other body parts and took him to the hospital. That was when the doctors found problems in his kidney and his heart. It seemed as if his body was starting to reject the organ. The next day the doctor tried to fix the problem with surgery but in between surgery the heart stopped  4 times so they shocked him back to life and they stopped the surgery. While staying in the hospital  he had both a stroke and a seizure. The doctors say this caused his brain to stop functioning. At the momen he’s not able to move his body but he still move his head and looks at people when  they call his name, but the doctor don't know what wrong with his brain and now also he cannot beathe on his own.The doctors were looking to send he to a rehabilitation center but his insurance could only pay for 6 months. There’s also another problem, most of his other organs are failing. With our time runing  out our family doesn’t know what esle we can do or where else to go. I would appreciate any advice or help or better resources where we could find the anwsers and help he need.

                                                                                             Thank You & God Bless,

                                                                                                   Peter R
