In February of 2007 I had neck surgery for bulged discs and bone spurs.  Ever since my surgery the pain has not gone away.  An MRI in 2008 showed more disc problems and a Physician stated that if he hadn't seen my scar he would not thought that I had surgery.  I have been to two additional neurosurgeons since that time both suggested more surgery, but my insurance won't cover it.  My family doctor has tried numerous medications, pain patches, injections and acupuncture, none of them have worked.  My neck has now gotten to the point that it is numb, including my bottom jaw and partially up to my ears.  Also since my surgery my sense of taste is basically gone with my tongue in a constant state of pins and needles.  I am looking for suggestions.  It is also affecting my speaking and writing ability.
