Dear Sir,
I have had problems with my eye for 13 years since I started a job in a tool and die shop. My eyes have been red, itchy, eye lids peel and loss of vision. I quit my job a started a new on in another automotive shop which I had the same problems. My eyes get worse when the building is closed up and the air or the heat runs without fresh air coming into the building. I was diagnosed with Atopic kertoconjunctivitis by a Opthalmoligy office last year. Now they say I need Superficial Keretectomy surgery which is a scraping of the eye (I also had this surgery done in 2002). Last week they told me I was going to need a Stem Cell Transplant of the cornea. My stem cells are failing. I was also told I have fibrosis of the eye. I was told I could go blind. I do have alot of allergy problems with being allergic to chemical type items (dust mite mattress covering, hair products, some dirt. indoor environments). Please give me some direction on this illness and if you feel it could be allergy related. Thanks for you help.
Annette
