Our nursing students are applying for over 40 jobs during the job search. They have asked me for a "generic" letter of recommendation to use for multiple job applications. I have always felt to be important for me to write a more personal letter that reflects the applicant with the job and employer. But given the circumstances the students are proposing is the generic letter acceptable?
