Hi,

in response to the pet food recalls and some of my own experiences, I now make dog food. I started with chicken, rice and veggies, but now offer plain chicken and rice, chicken and oatmeal, chicken, rice and veggies, chicken, oatmeal and sweet potato and chicken, sweet and white potato. I use only human grade ingredients, have been licensed by the dept. of agriculture and insured and all that stuff. I cook my chicken, take all the fat off the broth and then cook either rice or oatmeal in the broth. Then it all gets mixed and the frozen in 1 lb cups. Why are veteranians not interested in selling this product? My own vet sells and feeds it but I can't get anybody else to even try it. Over the course of 11 years of fostering pets, I have heard over and over "feed him chicken and rice for a while". Why then not sell it, too? What do I have to do to get into this market?

Thank you

Dee
