Dear Ms. Johnson,

Eight months ago I was laid off. I was told that it was temporay. Since then I've been working PRN, which is as needed. I am an X-ray Technologist by profession. I am also 55yrs old. I have applied for numerous jobs on the web and I always recieve the same answers. They have filled from within or found someone more qualified. I have the feeling that when they see when I attended school they realize that I'm older. They never say that. They have no idea that I am very capable and willing to work. My work ethic may be 'old school' to the younger people, but I do have one.

I am single and I need to work. I have at least 12 years until I can retire.

What do you suggest that I do in order to become gainfully employed?
