My grandson is extremely allergic to eggs, wheat, dust, peanuts, etc........ and dogs!  My wonderful dog pasted away last summer. I miss the companionship very much. Of course, I want to get another "best friend"  Is there any kind of dog that is nonallergic?  My grandson is 4 and 1/2.  He comes to my house once or twice every 2 weeks.   I had my other dog long before my grandson was born so we managed to keep the house well-vacuumed and the dog put in the bedroom when he came over.

As you can imagine, this is a touchy subject between my daughter and I!
