My 6 month old Golden Retriever has been diagnosed with "Severe bilateral hip dysplasia with subluxation and secondary arthritis with possible panosteitis." 

 While she seems to be getting around and dealing with her dysplasia, she will hold up her leg and not use it do to pain levels.  I have her on Glucosamine & Chondroitin, but it doesn't seem be helping her pain levels.  My vet has had her on Rimadyl and previcox which seems to work, but is not good long term. 

Do you have any alternative suggestions?
