I have just been approved to adopt a puppy from a rescue shelter. Our plan was to pick up the 9 week old lab this coming Saturday. They have contacted me...  delaying the pick up because the puppy has coccidia. Is this something to worry about, being the dog is at a rescue shelter??? I know it is treatable, but is it cureable??? How do I find out if it went untreated for a long period of time??? Please advise! Thanks!
