My 21 yr old son was diagnosed in the ER yesterday with appendigitis and intassusception. He has intermittent abdominal pain sometimes severe, bouts of diarrhea. CT scan showed two masses, one around his appendix, and the other in the navel area, and also the intestine problem. We have had no other tests, and would like to know what do we do next, tests? Colonoscopy? Diet? Another opinion. Another CT scan? Also he is I believe a bout 50 pounds overweight, and his medications are Effexor and Geodon. Any insight and advice would be greatly appreciated.
