It is wrong for even one child to be abused. But it would be even more wrong for all children to spend their entire lives in fear of being "informed" on by someone who doesn't like them. That system was tried in the USSR under Stalin, who killed 20 million citizens based on suspicion. Most people who attack the jury verdict don't seem to understand that historically this is the choice. You risk letting some go free even if they are guilty, or you ensure that none are free. A lot of people who have questioned the jury system and this verdict keep pushing the idea that MJ is not innocent because of the suspicions they have about him. Those suspicions were fuelled by the DA and his anger machine who used the media as a cover for their sloppy work. The DA circulated the impression MJ was dangerous and an habitual molester of children. The DA stired up anger to the point were some American Housebees on this forum are still willing to go out and lynch MJ despite the fact that a jury of his and their peers who listened to the evidence found him Not Guilty. Now what that is telling us is that ordinary everyday Americans can be incited to a point where they will compromise the most important pricipals that hold their free society together, when they are stired by ignorence and hate. There are poeple posting on this board who willingly ignore the very foundations of fair and advanced systems of justice to challenge that hard fought for system. Some of these people seem to be willing to surrender to mob rule or dictatorships, rather than except that MJ may in fact be truely innocent. Let these people stand up and leave the free world. Let them groval in the darkness of the dictatorships. Send them to Zimbawae,or North Korea or the back blocks of China. Give them a taste of justice by suspicion. Give them a taste of state propaganda. Let them be sucked in by corrupt officials. Let them walk with weary thoughts of trial and then death by suspicion. And these people think MJ is dangerous. These are the very people who will pot you in for a minor traffic offence. They are the ones who will falter under the presure of real in depth study and effort. They are the ones who betray our hard earned freedoms!
