Local MBA student, Lara Tewes, crowned Miss New York United States for 2010

Lara's platform is Alzheimer's Awareness and Treatment because her grandmother, like many other people, developed Alzheimer's but no one knew the signs until the disease was already well progressed.
Lara is a founding Executive Board Member of the C.W. Post MBA Association, and she started the MBA Association Newsletter. She is a decorated Argentine Tango Dancer & amateur ballroom dancer. She is an avid practitioner of yoga and runner. This July, she will compete in Las Vegas, NV  for the title of Miss United States.
