Tri-cities Workcamp from Petersburg Va has spent the last 20 summers sending teens,adult sponsors,and handypersons into Petersburg Va to help the less fortunate elderly and poor of the area spruce of their homes and more importantly let them know someone cares. Our theme last summer was "Love Like Crazy". After Katrina, the kids approached the director and said hey this is what we do. Can we go? She organized a group last year to help in Miss. 2007 we are doing the same. Feb 18-24 a group of @80,coming from as far away as PA and FL not to mention VA will take personal time and excused absence from school to work in D'Iberville MS, the little town the FEMA Forgot.
